Shenten Dargye Ling

Yungdrung Bön

Start of a five year course on Bonpo philosophy

Registration Form

5th to 24th - Start of a five year course on Bonpo philosophy
with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche and Khenpo Gelek

This will be the start of a five year course on Bonpo philosophy. Each year during spring we will organise a three-week teaching retreat. Over the course of the five years, we will cover selected topics as taught in the curriculum of the traditional Dialectical School at Menri and Triten Norbutse monasteries.

The first year will be dedicated to the hagiographies of Tonpa Shenrab and the Nine Vehicles. Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche will open the course and teach during the first week. Thereafter, Khenpo Gelek will continue.
It is highly recommended for dedicated practitioners who wish to broaden their understanding, particularly recommended for those who intend to function as translators.
The course is open for everyone and it is also possible to register for shorter period than three weeks.
Those who participate the full length of five years will be awarded a certificate.
During the afternoon classes you can choose between Tibetan reading and writing class or advanced Tibetan language group.

The teaching language is English and there will be no any other translation.
