Message from Yongdzin Rinpoche

Dear dharma friends and people of Nepal,

The natural disaster caused by the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal and neighbouring countries on April 25, 2015, left the monks and me shocked and sad.

I have been following the news. In Nepal it has caused the loss of thousands of lives. Innumerable people are suffering from injuries and the loss of their family members and loved ones. People are in distress and panic. Many precious, historical and ancient monuments were destroyed.

While our monks and nuns from Triten Norbutse Monastery are physically safe, we all deeply feel for the many victims of this tragedy. With heartfelt condolences I offer my prayers for the all the victims of the catastrophe, the deceased and the alive.

I would further request and advice all the Lamas, Geshes, monks and nuns, Yogis and practitioners of Yungdrung Bon to offer their prayers, recite the three essential mantras and offer lamps dedicated to all the victims and for the rapid restoration of peace and happiness in Nepal and on the earth in general.

With many prayers,
Yongdzin Lopon Tenzin Namdak
