he Longère at Shenten, a long building adjacent to the Château, has been undergoing a profound transformation since Fall 2021. Originally a woodcrafter atelier, built in the 17th century, it is now being transformed into a practice space for practitioners seeking to immerse themselves in long-term solitary retreats. Extremely demanding and challenging work has already been completed on the building; but plenty of work is still needed. The prospect of the future Longère is truly amazing and we are very delighted to share the progress with you.
